Ring Clean Up
Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know I did some housekeeping on the ring this past night. A few sites were shifted back to the queue because the link information wasn't working correctly. When you join the ring, be sure to copy and paste the HTML they provided you into your blog side bar. If done correctly you will have a link to this blog and under that there will be a Prev and Next link.
Here's a current list of those sites that are active. The ring works as a ring once more, so go take a loop around it. It's quite fun to see all the things being made out there!
I have emailed those who were removed because of the incorrect link information and provided them with the correct HTML. Email me when those of you manage to get that done and I'll get you back into the ring ASAP.

1. How do I get the Rockin Sock Club picture to show up?
Go to theRockin Sock Club 07 Ring Homepage and copy the image to your own server space. Link to it from there.
2. How do I add the ring code to my template in TypePad?
Here is what TypePad support says to do:
"You should be able to add that into the Notes section of a Link TypeList, and then set the configuration for the TypeList to "display notes as text". That should do the trick."
3. When will I be added to the ring?
I have to *manually* check every one of these blogs. Until your blog is checked it will remain in the queue. Be patient. It could take a few days or several weeks for your site to be moved to the ring. If you meet the requirements and you get the code up on your blog, you will be added. Please do not email me and ask when you will be added. This takes up time that I could be checking and adding sites to the ring.
To clarify, I check the queue several times a week and add qualified blogs to the ring. your blog is considered qualified if:
* You have added the Rockin Sock Club blog ring code to your template.
* You blog shows Rockin Sock Club/knitting content and consistent posting. (Weekly for at least a month.)
* You blog follows the rules which have been established for this ring. The rules can be found on the Rockin Sock Club 2007 Ring Homepage.
RULES
This is a ring for members of Blue Moon Fibers - Rockin Sock Club.
* To be a member of this ring:
1. You must be a member of the Rockin Sock Club 2007 and have a knitting blog, where you talk about knitting and the club.
2. You must post regularly. For our purposes regularly will be at least once a week.
3. The ring code must be correct and must be visible on the page where your blog is located.
4. You must hide SPOILERS behind a jump so not to ruin the surprise for others.
5. You are responsible for making changes to your blog information (new url, new email, new blog name).
* When joining the ring:
1. Your blog must be at least a month old.
2. Your blog must show regular postings (once a week) for the last month.
3. You have one week from the time you submit your site to get your ring code up and running correctly.
